Have Dinner at Our Springfield Restaurant To Support Homeless Vets

For some, Veteran’s Day is simply a day when the banks are closed, there’s no mail delivered and there are a bunch of department store sales. Others feel a deeper gratitude to those who have served and would like to do more to appreciate the veterans in our community. Hopefully all of us take some time this Veteran’s Day to reflect on what many of these warriors sacrificed for our country and what many of them have had to endure. Let’s not forget the ones we have lost and the impact their service had on their families and friends.

If you have ever wanted to help homeless veterans but didn’t know how, you can make a difference by bringing friends and family to Bambino’s Cafe on 2810 Battlefield Road on Wednesday, November 13th. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., a portion of all our dine-in proceeds at our Springfield restaurant will be donated to the Community Partnership’s Homeless Veteran’s Task Force. These funds will be used to help house veterans experiencing homelessness in Springfield. The Community Partnership of the Ozarks (CPO) is committed to building strong neighborhoods and communities. In addition, they strive to provide programs that help build resilient children and healthy families.

November is Homeless Awareness Month, and each November, CPO’s Alliance to End Homelessness puts together a calendar of events to raise awareness about homelessness and other incredible events in our community. Click here to learn more of their amazing mission and how you can help.

We’ve all seen homeless people in our community and many of them are veterans from all walks of life. On any given night approximately 30 veterans are experiencing homelessness in our community with the majority of those sleeping outside. While there are those who advocate for the homeless, others blame them and feel it is their choice to be on the street. Unfortunately there are many stereotypes attached to our homeless veterans just as there are to everyone in society.

If you want to be part of the solution, come dine at our Springfield restaurant for dinner at Bambino’s on Battlefield on Wednesday November 13th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy a delicious dinner with your family while you give back and help. Come see us for scrumptious appetizers with a beer or glass of wine followed up with what many think is the best house salad in town.

Next enjoy one of our savory entrees. The baked ziti with marinated roast beef will make a party in your stomach. Gluten free? Vegan? Vegetarian? No problem. Our cauliflower gluten free pizza crust and gluten free pasta options means you can still enjoy your favorites even with dietary restrictions.

Wrap this all up with one of our incredible homemade desserts as you dine surrounded by beautiful local art. Enjoy a great meal and help pay it forward to our homeless vets.
