Bambino's Cafe Delmar – SPRINGFIELD, MO. — In our continuous effort to enhance the dining experience, Bambino's Cafe on Delmar Street is undergoing a significant remodeling phase. What's Changing?
The remodel plan involves modernizing the space, expanding the kitchen for increased efficiency, and potentially adding a second story to accommodate more guests. Our goal is to preserve as much of the original building's charm and history, ensuring that the essence of Bambino's Cafe remains intact.

Delmar Update April 2025
We are now hoping to re-open our Delmar location in late May. Our plan originally was to be open in April so we could have all the kinks worked out by Graduation day, but we aren't going to be able to make that. Which is disappointing to us, but with a big project like this, there are a few reasons for the delay:
Some of the materials have been easy to get, while others, like windows, seemed to take an unusually long time. Our subs and contractors have been great. The city staff has been very accommodating and responsive. Our design team and engineers have been very engaged. We have learned a lot and we are very happy with the structure as it is coming together.
I really want to thank everyone who has hung in there with us through this process. Our amazing staff, vendors, inspectors, contractors, neighbors, etc. But most importantly our customers. The support we have received has been very affirming and much appreciated!
Delmar Update October 2024
Over the past six months, we've been hard at work on our Delmar location. We've carefully demolished the west dining room, patio, and kitchen areas while preserving the original 100-year-old corner market that's been a cherished part of our community.
We've started pouring the new foundation and are currently working on the plumbing and electrical layout. If everything stays on schedule, we expect to have a framed-in, covered structure by Thanksgiving.
This keeps us on track to open around the end of next March! The following months will be spent on the new parking lot, finishing touches, and designing a beautiful pocket park across the street. There's still a lot to do, but we're cautiously optimistic and can't wait to welcome you to our new space.

- Demolition Progress: Side demolition done, and the back is cleared.
- Historic Charm Preserved: Our beloved 1920s market area remains intact!
